Jag har ett jobbigt problem. Kör sedan en vecka tillbaka Adobe CS mest för at kunna använda 16 bitars läget i photoshop. Det underliga är att Photoshop och indesign vägrar att starta. Photoshop startar men visar en ruta som säger nått i still med "could not open because nånting med personilize" kan inte kolla exakt nu för jag sitter inte på den datorn. Och Indesign händer det inte ett smack med när jag startar. Illustrator och Imageready funkar fint.

Jag har provat att installera om och jag har kastat allt som har med adobe och CS att göra samt att jag har kollat sökvägen ifall den innehåller några konstiga tecken men icke. Har även kollat "adobe registration database" file i adobe mappen i aplicationsupportmappen, och allt stämmer där.

Kan det va nått fel på mina installationsskivor ska jag kontakta adobe?
Jag har gjort det förut men deras support var nästan värre en apples.

Standardtipset brukar ju vara att reparera permissions när nåt krånglar i X. Värt att testa om du inte redan gjort det.

CS har visat sig hyperkänslig för felaktiga typsnitt. Kolla.
Om du använder nån slags haxie för menyer o sånt (t.ex. FruitMenu från www.unsality.com) så kan också tråkigeheter inträffa.

Har också lite problem med stabiliteten i och med CS. Finns det några bra sätt att kolla fonterna? Enligt Richard Rönnbäck så hittar ju inte FontDoctor alla problem.
Jag har i nuläget bara lagt in ett par fonter utöver systemfonterna och ännu inte vågat installera Suitase. Kör Panther.

nu har jag testat alla möjliga konstilationer. Reparera hit o dit installerat om och hållt på. Dom enda fonterna som jag har är dom som kom med i systemet så jag tror inte det kan vara dom som krånglar. Får lov att ringa adobe imorgon.

Jag har också haft hemska problem med PS CS. Tröttnade och la in PS 7.
Men efter diverse frågor i Adobes forum, så fick jag tips (som i och för sig inte funkade) som handlade om:

1. Fonter (som jag redan nämnt)
2. Haxies, eller annat som man ändrat i systemet med, t.ex. "godis" som finns med i Cocktail och andra, liknande program för att göra datorn mer personlig.
3. Menyn. Jag använder FruitMenu, och ett par i Adobes forum trodde det kunde vara boven. Men om du har annat som påverkar menyn, så testa att ta bort det. Prova också att ställa om till engelskt tangentbordslayout (i systeminställningarna) eftersom svenska tecken i menyerna KAN påverka om du t.ex. har ett "engelskt" program.
4. Andra personliga inställningar. Testa programmet i safe mode, eller skapa ett helt nytt användarkonto (ändra INGET dess inställningar) o testa.
5. Tredjepartsfilter/plug-ins. Ta bort dom.

Själv är jag förbluffad över PS CS:s uppenbara problem att samsas med OS X. Mitt InDesign CS rullar på som tåget, och PS 7 likaså.....och det är precis samma maskin

Sorry Richard, Adobe verkar ha "slarvat" bort dokumentet du länkat till. Jag förmodar att det var en längre utläggning i o m att du inte beskrev en lösning i ditt inlägg. Hoppas en lösning dyker upp i den här tråden, har inte själv installerat CS än men vill gärna vara förberedd den dagen det händer. Dvs om jag får samma problem som beskrivs här.

Personalization errors occur when opening (Photoshop CS on Mac OS X)

Issue
When you open Adobe Photoshop CS, you receive one of the following errors:
-- "Could not fully start the application because of invalid personalization information."

-- "Could not personalize your copy of Photoshop because of missing or invalid personalization information."
-- "Could not complete your request because certain required files were not found in the Adobe Photoshop CS Required folder. Please reinstall Photoshop to restore those files."


Solution: Ensure that only one copy of Photoshop CS is installed.

Open the Applications folder on your hard drive and check to see if more than one instance of a folder called Photoshop CS exists. If more than one copy of Photoshop CS exists, delete all instances of Photoshop CS and reinstall Photoshop CS.


To delete Photoshop CS and reinstall:
1. Move any personal files from the Adobe Photoshop CS folders on the hard disk to another location.
2. Delete all Adobe Photoshop CS folders in the Applications folder.
3. Drag the Users/[user name]/Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop CS Settings folder to the Trash.
4. Insert the Photoshop CD-ROM, double-click the installer file in the Photoshop folder on the CD-ROM, and then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Background information
If multiple copies of Photoshop CS are present within the Applications folder, or a Beta/Tryout version is installed, the system and Photoshop may confuse which files to use to verify personalization. This confusion can lead to personalization errors when launching the application.


The Photoshop CS installer personalizes the first installed instance of the Photoshop CS within the Applications folder. If multiple instances of the Photoshop CS folder are present, only the first one will be personalized. New installations of Photoshop CS will not be personalized, causing the error "Could not personalize your copy of Photoshop because of missing or invalid personalization information".


If you need to retain more than one installation of Photoshop CS on your computer--if, for example, you need more than one language version--you can use the following workaround procedures to avoid personalization errors. However, multiple installations of Photoshop CS on a single computer system and the steps provided below are not supported by Adobe Technical Support.


If you already have Photoshop CS installed and want to install another instance:
1. Move one of the Photoshop CS folders out of the Applications folder.
2. Move all remaining instances of Photoshop CS folders to the Trash, and then empty the Trash.
3. Create a subfolder in the Applications folder, for example: Photoshop CS 1.
4. Reinstall Photoshop CS and select the subfolder (created in Step 3) as the install folder when prompted for the installation location.
5. Move the original Photoshop CS folder back into the Applications folder.


If you have not installed Photoshop CS but require multiple instances to be installed:
1. Create a subfolder in the Applications folder, for example: Photoshop CS 1.
2. Install Photoshop CS and select the subfolder (created in Step 1) as the install folder when prompted for the installation location.
3. Create another subfolder in the Applications folder, for example: Photoshop CS 2.
4. Reinstall Photoshop CS and select the subfolder (created in Step 3) as the install folder when prompted for the installation location.
